Red Dog Saloon in Juneau

The Red Dog Saloon is a drinking establishment in Juneau Alaska. The Red Dog has been recognized for its longevity as the oldest man-made tourist attraction in Juneau. It is popular in the summer as thousands of cruisers head to the bar for a beer. A must see on any Alaskan adventure.

Mendenhall Glacier @ Juneau

Mendenhall Glacier is about 12 miles long and located about 12 miles from downtown Juneau in the southeast area of Alaska. The views at Mendenhall Glacier are spectacular. The glacier is easily accessible from Juneau, about 15 minutes by bus. There are many viewing areas at the glacier as well as a visitors center. For the best views take the 1 mile each way hike to the waterfall it is definitely worth the trek.
